   On the other hand, there is no reason to necessarily preserve a URL in its exact form in a .c or .h file.  it is just a comment and help text, it is not a hyper-link and need not be fully syntacticlly correct.  There is really nothing wrong with arbitrarily break in URL into at clean points in the path.  The URL is still readable and usable, just cannot be used with a single copy-paste.
