- Define a script based alert that is run by the Ambari agent for HDFS
- The alert definition captures the metrics to query, optionally a AMS appId / instanceId along with the percentage thresholds to alert on.
- The alert should support thresholds on variance in the data. This is time window based so the alert definitions will be per day / per week / per month or per quarter.
