Christoph Dorn commented on LOG4PHP-174:
----------------------------------------
@Ivan:
Sorry about not responding. I was not being notified of changes to this issue.
The protocol docs that are available are here: http://sourcemint.com/github.com/firephp/firephp/1:1.0.0b1rc6/-docs/Protocols
I have yet to document the new protocol in-depth but I have unit tests somewhere that show it pretty well. I hope to get to refining everything around insight later this year.
The protocol was termed "wildfire" while I did the ZF integration but there is no collaboration with ZF any more. The wildfire protocol is evolving into a pluggable communication layer which I will speak more of later this year as well.
If you have any other questions let me know (I should be notified now).
Thanks for pushing this integration through! I will be releasing dynamic CommonJS-based UI renderers driven from PHP data using Insight later this year. Having a log4php integration will easily make this available to a lot of users.
