[jira] Created: (MASSEMBLY-402) Assembly plugin goals should have a
forceCreation parameter.
Assembly plugin goals should have a forceCreation parameter.
------------------------------------------------------------
Key: MASSEMBLY-402
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MASSEMBLY-402
Project: Maven 2.x Assembly Plugin
Issue Type: New Feature
Reporter: Paul Gier
Assembly jars are created every time whether or not the files contained in them have been updated. There should be a plugin parameter called "forceCreation" similar to the jar plugin and source plugin that determines if the assemblies should only be created when there have been updates to the files.
