Next Release?

Hi All,

I was just wondering how the next release was coming along. Will it be this week sometime?

Thanks,
-Tony

Tony,
you can always build from the source before the release if you want
to check out how the latest xmlbeans performs. Also, our practice
has been to put up release candidates (the binaries) for download
before the release is actually made, so as we approach the release,
you will have a chance to try out a release candidate. Watch this
list for announcements.
As a matter of fact, your input will be welcome, so please go ahead
and test out what is in the repository now (if you're willing to
build from source), or (if not) a release candidate when one is
made available.

Thanks that helps set expectations.

Will there be a jar that I can test before that? I am running performance tests against an older version and am curious what the newer version can do for my use cases.

I highly doubt we'll have a release this week. IMO the more realistic target is before the end of the year.
