I would have thought this should set environment variables in the remote ssh session; but this doesn't seem to happen. Trying to access environment variables from a (java) process run in this ssh session don't see the environment variables as having been set/exported. Either this doesn't work, or I am using it incorrectly, and in which case, it could do with some better javadoc to explain how it should be used.
