error doing 'switch' from behind proxy

I had a good checkout of http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/xml/forrest/trunk
I am behind a proxy and running Win2k. All operations work fine until I
do a switch. A checkout of the branch works fine. A switch on a win2k
computer NOT behind the proxy works fine. Here's what I did:

> svn sw https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/xml/forrest/branches/copyless
...
 U .
svn: REPORT request failed on '/repos/asf/!svn/vcc/default'
svn: REPORT of '/repos/asf/!svn/vcc/default': Could not read response
body: An existing connection w
as forcibly closed by the remote host. (http://svn.apache.org)

> svn sw https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/xml/forrest/branches/copyless
svn: REPORT request failed on '/repos/asf/!svn/vcc/default'
svn:
File not found: transaction 'a00', path
'/xml/forrest/branches/src/java/org/apache/cocoon'

As you can see at http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/xml/forrest/branches/,
there is no such 'src' dir in the 'branches' dir.

Thanks!
