bq. A question to the projects that want to use this process - is the limitation that the binaries can only be published through the Apple AppStore a) not an issue, b) annoying but acceptable, c) a show stopper?
I just realized I never responded to this question.
I agree with OmPrakash Muppirala. Since iOS apps can only be installed to the general user's iOS device through the AppStore, having the limitation that the binaries can only be published through the AppStore is not an issue for the Apache VCL project.
