[jira] [Created] (CASSANDRA-6362) Test node changing IP address

Jonathan Ellis created CASSANDRA-6362:
-----------------------------------------

Summary: Test node changing IP address
                 Key: CASSANDRA-6362
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-6362
             Project: Cassandra
          Issue Type: Test
          Components: Core
            Reporter: Jonathan Ellis
            Assignee: Ryan McGuire
            Priority: Minor
             Fix For: 1.2.12, 2.0.3

Seeing a cluster running 1.2. where a node changing IP address totally confused things, logging

Token X changing ownership from <new> to <old>

... which is the opposite of what we want to happen.

Let's see if we can reproduce. [~jjordan] thinks switching from IP-based identity to hostid-based may have broken this.
