DO NOT REPLY [Bug 47506] New: ProxyTimeOut does not work on 32bit FreeBSD

https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=47506

Summary: ProxyTimeOut does not work on 32bit FreeBSD
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.0.53
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: FreeBSD
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: mod_proxy
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: arpan_khandelwal@persistent.co.in
                CC: arpan_khandelwal@persistent.co.in

I have Apache 2.0.53 installed on freebsd 5.4-RELEASE i386.

I am using mod_proxy for tomcat 5.5.25.

ProxyTimeOut directive does not work on 32bit machine. Looks like apache 2.0.53
ignores ProxyTimeOut directive.

I can't upgrade my apache to latest one.

I am digging into the code, since I need to fix this bug in 2.0.53 itself

I did-

but still both of the fixes are not working.

Could you guys please let me know what exactly I am missing ?

Have a look at the 2.2.x code and find out the difference between the 2.0.x and
the 2.2.x code regarding timeout handling.

This is fixed in the latest version. So you either have to upgrade or live with
it.
