[TinkerPop3] HasTraversalStep Added -- Filtering using Anonymous Traversals
Hello,
Daniel Kuppitz and I just added HasTraversalStep to TinkerPop3-SNAPSHOT. In short, has() can now take an anonymous traversal. If that anonymous traversal hasNext() for the current traverser as start, then the traverser is allowed to pass. Some examples are provided in the docs below:
http://www.tinkerpop.com/docs/3.0.0-SNAPSHOT/#has-step (second half of the Has Step section)
BTW: Note that the doc examples are now computed at documentation compile time using Daniel's latest work on AsciiDoc preprocessing. His script isolates the code snippets in the docs, executes them, and inserts the results back into the AsciiDoc. Totally epic.
Enjoy,
Marko.

Hey Bob,

Its pretty crazy, we have done a lot to remove the need for as() for navigation -- seems only branch() and back() are left (??). However, we still use as() for naming steps in a path --- select(), match(), etc. But yea, its getting really pretty, really fast.

I would like to offer my condolences to all the as() and back() steps that
will be left homeless as a result of this "enhancement".
Seriously though, this will greatly improve readability.
