Newbie.Would like to contribute to Mahout.

Hi all,

I am new to Apache Mahout and would like to help out with contributing to
the project. I am following a MSc in CS ( specializing in Data
Science,Engineering & Analytics) at the University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka.

I have purchased the Apache Mahout:Beyond MapReduce book and am trying out
the examples on a VM. Please do let me know how I could be of help.
