WSDL2JAVA with https

I am using the org.apache.axis.wsdl.WSDL2Java class to
generate java client stubs. My WSDL has endpoints with
https in them,  and wsdl2java breaks with the error:

  java.io.IOException: Emitter failure.  Invalid
endpoint address in port MyPort in service MyLocator: 
https://localhost/service.asmx

How do I get wsdl2java to accept https URLs? I put
JSSE jars in the classpath..
