Fixed in trunk - the log level in config.properties is set to 1 when releasing (with the release profile) but defaults to 4.

This is reasonable, although, it is a pain to have another step to perform during the release process to hide and then unhide the messages.
Perhaps there is some way we can modify the log level automatically based on whether we are performing a release versus a local build.

Well, we could probably just edit default.properties to be 1 all the time, since this should only be used if config.properties is not found. So then the proposed approach would be for config.properties it seems.

I attached a ptach that solves the problem by using profiles and "default.properties" filtering.
So on a "standard" maven build it will set felix.log.level to 4 (as right now) and when using the -Prelease (which I suppose that is used during releasing) it will set the log level to 1.
