I'm looking at fixing this, but not using the provided patch. The "problem" with the patch is that it extracts a jar to a temp location and equinox and I think felix will take a copy of this jar into their working area. This means we get it unjared and  copied which isn't efficient. I'm also concerned that we would do this extract every time and it might not always be required.

I'm looking at an alternative solution which is a little hacky, but I think will solve this problem more efficiently.
