How to use maven middlegen? Any sample code?

Hi,

I have got an existing ant script which runs middlegen, hbm2java stuff. 

Now our project decides to adopt maven and I am wondering how can I convert
my ant script to maven script. I was told that it's not a good idea to call
ant script from maven. Plus maven has a middlegen plug-in so I decide to use
it. 

Is anyone used maven middlegen plug in before? I just need some sample
script code. Also, where do you specify your classpath and environment
properties such as database connection parameters?
