[jira] [Commented] (FEDIZ-238) Pass/Set Roles and other attributes in the SESSION , one the user is authenticated

Colm O hEigeartaigh commented on FEDIZ-238:
-------------------------------------------

Please stop creating JIRAs to ask questions - that is what the mailing list is for. Could you explain what it is you mean exactly? The Fediz plugin parses the SAML Assertion, and sets up the principal with the roles. It also stores the Assertion so you can do any custom parsing on it, so the attributes are already available to the session.

> Is it possible to add a new feature in the FEDIZ plugin ( on SP end ) wherein once the user is authenticated via IDP using SAML , the plugin passes or sets the SAML attributes in the form of SESSION or may be HEADER ???
