Thanks Felix.
Regarding the social media links the are located at the bottom and not
really visible as not above the floating line.
I would prefer them to be visible without scrolling.
Maybe it could be in About section which we could change :

   - to remove "JMeter on Twitter <http://twitter.com/ApacheJMeter>" as
it's already in the other links,
   - Put issues section in Community
   - Put "Project info at Apache
   <https://projects.apache.org/project.html?jmeter>" section in Community

I have committed the changes for the logo.

The social media links are placed inside a div in nav. I am not sure,
whether it should stay there, or not. Any ideas?

If every mail counts as a vote (NaveenKumar sent his vote twice and I
counted it only once, sebb gave two votes with no preference, so I
counted both :) then we have two winners 3 and 6.

If I take the preferences into account (first counts as two votes,
second as one (again sebb counts both times as two)) 6 wins.

The same is true if I take the first three preferences into account with
3, 2 and 1 as a factor.

So I guess it is 6.

Does anyone else wants to give a formula to calculate a winner?

Hello,
Anybody computed the results ?

As per the vote through modernballots, logo 6 seems to be the winner:

https://modernballots.com/elections/frmtk7nk/view/

But as sebb wrote it is not controlled and people can vote as many times as
they want.

Please, disregard https://modernballots.com/elections/jmesjcgi/vote/.

Let's see what happens here first.

AFAICT there is no check to see if a single user submits multiple
votes, so the result should not be relied on much.

For instance, here: https://modernballots.com/elections/jmesjcgi/vote/
The idea behind that vote is "Schulze method", so it properly accounts
for preferences (see [1])

Thanks!
The existing logo is 182x88; the new ones are scaled to 259x88, which
should fit OK in existing layouts (the height is generally more
critical).

I think they all look good; much cleaner than the previous logo.

I prefer the ones with black or grey TM; the red TM stands out too
much for me and unbalances the look slightly
In jmeter5.svg the TM is too much in the background.

I cannot decide between

jmeter.svg, 4 or 6.

Thanks very much for doing this.

I have added a link to a page with them at normal size (which I
interpreted as 88px height).

I also added a note, that I converted the TM to path, so that missing
fonts didn't change the image.

Would it be possible to add another page showing the logos at normal size?

The kerning was done manually. All logos are basically the same except
the colors. The first one (jmeter.svg) has no border, which makes the
letters a bit more apart from each other. All the other ones should be
the same (border width of 3).

Assuming all the TMs are san-serif, my order of preference is #1 (with
J fully red like in #6), #6, #3 (with regular letter thickness like in
#1)

Felix, was the kerning fully automated? Have you adjusted it?
The distance between J and M varies from logo to logo. It looks a bit odd.
I wonder what is the "proper" distance. I think smaller gap would do better.

All the TM should have the font of jmeter7.svg. In the previous ones I forgot to convert the letters to path and so the appearance depends on the installs fonts of the viewer.

I like jmeter7.svg (it's the only one with the sans-serif TM)
