   Are you sure this fixed the underlying issue? The variable "x509_CA_ENV_FILE" doesn't exist (the first character is lower case).
   
   I tested PR #3041 multiple times yesterday and have not run into this issue. 
   
   I have seen docker shared volumes with very delayed writes to disk, so perhaps there is some kind of race condition that happens very rarely.  Let me know if you run into this again after applying PR #3041 
   
   In general, I think the long term solution is to just stop using the docker shared volumes as they tend to be very buggy.
