Can ActiveMQ be deployed in an arm environment

Hello
Can ActiveMQ be deployed in an arm environment,Is there any specific documentation

There should not be any issues running ActiveMQ 5 on ARM based systems, as long as the processor is suitably powerful and the JDK version aligns.

There will be a lot more of instances of this now that Apple has transitioned their computers to ARM-based processors. As Lucas pointed out, there are now more ARM based systems in the cloud.

Thanks,

Hello

running a broker on arm is not so desirable IMHO.
But deploying ActiveMQ clients there, connecting to a broker on a "real"
machine worked fine, hen I've tried it.

Hi there,

I haven't seen any specific documentation about running ActiveMQ "Classic"
on ARM and all I could find for Artemis was this blog about running it on
a Raspberry Pi:
https://www.dontesta.it/en/2021/02/15/activemq-artemis-easy-docker-creation-also-for-arm/

Out of curiosity, I just tried ActiveMQ "Classic" on an EC2 t4g.small
instance (Arm-based AWS Graviton2 processors) and I was able to start the
broker, send some messages and browse the console no problem. I don't know
if there are any limitations but it seems to just work out of the box.

Good luck!

Please share your activemq.xml. Are there any added agents to the JVM startup? Or Camel routes?

After activemq5. X is started, there are two dynamically changing port numbers. What are the functions of these two port numbers?
