So far the Sling API does not provide a mechanism to create resources in a specific position within its children or to reorder them. It is possible to do it when using the Default Post Serlvet (:order parameter), but not programmatically, without relying in the JCR API.

It would be great if Sling provided a way to do this, probably through the resourceResolver.
