[jira] Resolved: (TUSCANY-1528) ClassCastException thrown when
trying to deserializing an XML with undefined global element
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TUSCANY-1528?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Frank Budinsky resolved TUSCANY-1528.
-------------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Committed revision 567056.
Fuhwei's patch broke some of the CTS tests which I also fixed against this JIRA. The tests were not expecting a DocumentRoot Type to be included in the list returned from XSDHelper.define(). Those tests should not have been making any assumptions about DocumentRoot anyway, since it's implentation dependent.

> Using simple.xsd, I can serialize and deserialize an XML with a undefined global element. If I removed the global element definition from the simple.xsd, a ClassCastException will be thrown. It seems without the global element definition's presence some required step was not done. Here is the stack trace and test case.
