I am looking right now in this topic and have some interesting findings:
in docs_0_60/sitemap-ref.html (368):

That is *highly* old fashion skin specific and does not work in the dispatcher anymore. Here we would use something like

I am unsure what to recommend, because if we update the docu skins will throw an error. One could add the old matches again but I do not recommend this because since I considered them "evil" I now turned to our naming conventions for file extension.

Well, actually our site-author is not using *.png for our logos, but *.gif.
I reckon we should add a structurer to our site-author.

After todays bugfix of the path the brocken link got smaller. :)
Beside the known isssue with menu-îndex.xml where we still need a decission how to fix it, I can identify a problem with the raw data.

The link for the pdf is wrong, the ".xmap" get stripped. This can be seen requesting
http://localhost:8888/docs_0_80/howto/project_sitemap.xmap.props.
I fixed it by adding the ".html" extension to the path of the props, because "filename-noext" strips the last extension.
