I have a site that uses cocoon://site.xml successfully, so if anywone starts work on this let me know I may be able to help track down the problem. No time to look myself right now.

Description:
When doing 'forrest', the cocoon starts, but hangs and no document processing messages are emitted and no indication in the logs. Then need to Ctrl-C it. When doing 'forrest run' the same happens, but with an error message "java.lang.StackOverflowError".
