[jira] Created: (AXISCPP-546) Transport timeout throws an unknown exception.

Transport timeout throws an unknown exception.
----------------------------------------------

         Key: AXISCPP-546
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AXISCPP-546
     Project: Axis-C++
        Type: Bug
  Components: Client - Engine
    Versions: 1.5 Beta
    Reporter: John Hawkins
 Attachments: ClientLog.taw, HandlerTest7.out

When the client does not receive a timely response back from the server it catches a "..." exception and then throws upwards an unknown exception. This can be better handled by returning back a specific timeout exception.

NOTE: This is my rudimentary observations from this testcase. The logs are attached for further investigation.

    Fix Version: 1.6 Alpha

This issue has been solved with the fix to issue AXISCPP-322. I tested with the base sample and now I get the following when a timeout happens:
