   thanks for your answer 
   I downloaded it using git
   "git clone --recursive https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet mxnet"
   I am not sure it was version 1.7.0 
   I was suggested to use this mode of downloading instead of downloading the archive (it did not build with CMAKE)
   if this is the case how can I download version 1.7.0 in such a way that I can build ?
