Socket exception hangs tomcat

A call of soap produces this exception java.net.SocketException: Software caused
connection abort: recv failed

At this moment the tomcat hangs. If I restart tomcat this don't respond at port
8080. I cant access at the manager webapp for example.

I'm working in a windows 2003 whith multiples cpus
If is a problem of my webapplication, what happens?
