          Platform: Sun
        OS/Version: Solaris

        ReportedBy: babu_contact@yahoo.com

Hi,
I have changed the log level in log4j.ini from INFO mode to DEBUG mode. But it
is not reflecting in our application log. It was working properly till
yesterday, but suddenly the issue happened today.

Please let us know what could be the issue.

This issue is happening in production. Please provide us the solution ASAP.

Thanks
Babu

There is a very good log4j-dev-subscribe@logging.apache.org mailing list for
questions.
You have neither provided detailled system information (i.E. the log4j version
or your system in use or anything else) nor a detailled error.

Try
log4j.rootCategory=DEBUG, OPAL

> This issue is happening in production. Please provide us the solution ASAP.
log4j is open source. If you want to have professionel support have a look at
i.E. https://www.qos.ch . People spent time on supporting someone if they _like_
to do so and _when_ they want to.

The above is _NOT_ an official statement but a singular, personal opinion and
has not the claim to reflect the opinion of any other developer/user of log4j.

Marking invalid as this is more of a support request than a bug report and nothing that can be acted upon.
