[Issue 127856] New: Cannot type ฤา in Thai

https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127856

          Issue ID: 127856
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Cannot type ฤา in Thai
           Product: Internationalization
           Version: 4.1.5
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows 10
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P5 (lowest)
         Component: ui
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: jteera5@hotmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Cannot type ฤา , in that sequence, using Thai keyboard. When pressed ฤ, the
character was input and shown on the screen. But when า was pressed immediately
after ฤ OO didn't accept the า. This leads to typing errors since users expect
the outcome ฤา.

This happens in Writer, Calc, Impress and Draw that I tried. Not in other
Windows applications and not in LibreOffice either.

Current workaround is to type "ฤ า" then delete the space.

On an English (QWERTY) keyboard with Thai (Kedmanee), the ฤ key is at shift-a
position (Uppercase a, Caps Lock off). And the า key is at k key (lowercase k).

Two years passed and the issue still is unconfirmed. I'd like to report that
this problem continues in the current version 4.1.7. The developer or
maintainer of this part of AOO can confirm it easily by adding Thai keyboard in
Windows.
