[jira] Commented: (AMQ-2632) Update client connections with
information about a cluster of networked brokers
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-2632?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12970933#action_12970933 ]
Gary Tully commented on AMQ-2632:
---------------------------------
had a peek at the impl, seems like it was intended to be conditional on org.apache.activemq.broker.TransportConnector#updateClusterClients and hense off by default. The connection control message is always sent on new connection start, so ends up having all the broker info by default.

> Currently it is up to the client to decide which broker(s) it should connect to. It would be beneficial to allow clients to be informed of brokers joining/leaving a cluster of networked brokers, and optionally load balance across them.
