Help me!SOAP and Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB)
Hello,
I have a WebService using methods of my EJB, which return a Remote interface (class). I´m working with SOAP RPC and when I run my application I have this error:
[SOAPException: faultCode=SOAP-ENV:Client; msg=Unable to instantiate 'EJB.RegistroRemote': EJB.RegistroRemote; targetException=java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unable to instantiate 'EJB.RegistroRemote': EJB.RegistroRemote]
at org.apache.soap.rpc.Call.invoke(Call.java:246)......................
Could you say me if SOAP can return as parameter remote instances from EJB´s ? Or how I do it?
Thank you very much.

If you're trying to use call EJB via Soap, you cannot do it directly.
You can use the Apache Soap RPC router by specifying in the deployment
descriptor the information to access your EJB via JNDI ...
For more information, have a look to this url ...
http://xml.apache.org/soap/docs/guide/deploy.html

It seems that you're trying create an instance of RegistroRemote but you
don't use the constructor properly.
Check if your RegistroRemote constructor signature and the "new" call
instruction match ...

Looks like u r directly trying to invoke EJB thru SOAP. You cannot instantiate interfaces. Any bean can only be accessed thru JNDI.
So best thing to do is invoke your own soap service and the service can invoke the bena, get the results and send thru the soap response.
Basically the service is just a think layer between EJBs and you soap client.
