Access SFTP through HDFS API

Come across to find the patch https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-5732, which provides a way to access SFTP. But I don't find any doc explaining how to use it (configuration, which Java classes to use in steps, etc.) So I would like to check where there exist such information or doc I can read for getting started?
