oracle integration

hi guys,

i actually need some help on integrating oracle with the turbine framework.
i have read the howto and followed the instructions, but i am not able to
log
in to my portal site. even if i try to register as a new user i am not able
to do
so. it seemed that the db is unreachable but i got no sql exception.

does anyone have expirience and is able to help me please,
