Your changes were committed after the T&R of 2.0.42. Expect them
to be in the next release.

Just as a matter of interest, which version or what date did the
APR/APU snapshot come from? I recently made some changes to APR
for SCO OpenServer that'd be great if they went out with 2.0.42.

I'm now confident that 2.0.42 is stable.

Having been burned before, I reserve my judgement until it has run longer
without problems on daedalus. It's been up less than 22 hours so far; I'll be
satisfied if we make it to 48 hours when at least 24 of those are non-weekend
time.

(not that I think anything is wrong with it...just being Joe Cautious)

I'm seeing good behaviour on MacOSX 10.2.1. The server fails a bunch of
access tests:

Failed Test Status Wstat Total Fail Failed List of failed
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
modules/access. 408 31 7.60% 4, 20-21, 24, 26, 28, 30, 38, 55,
                                              72, 89, 106-107, 123-124, 141,
                                              154, 168, 170, 175, 192, 209,
                                              226, 277, 290, 304, 306, 311,
                                              328, 345, 362
10 tests and 6 subtests skipped.

These are tests for 'Deny/Allow from localhost': apparently on Jaguar
'127.0.0.1' doesn't resolve into 'localhost' anymore. I haven't gotten to
the bottom of this yet.

Other tests are OK. This compile was with:

sctemme@shadow:~/projects/httpd-test/perl-framework $ cat
../../httpd-2.0.42-tag/config.nice
#! /bin/sh
#
# Created by configure

CFLAGS="-DDEBUG -O0"; export CFLAGS
"./configure" \
"--prefix=/tmp/apache2042" \
"--enable-module=most" \
"--with-port=8080" \
"--enable-maintainer-mode" \
"--enable-so" \
"--with-layout=Apache" \
"--enable-info=shared" \
"--enable-ssl=shared" \
"--enable-deflate=shared" \
"--enable-expires=shared" \
"--enable-headers=shared" \
"$@"

Have a good weekend,

S.

Compiles and serves pages on Windows. Can someone more familier with the
httpd test suite do a regression run?
