(AIRAVATA-340) [GSoC] Airavata Workflow Enactment to support Amazon Simple Workflow Service

Hello.

My name is Yaroslav Porshnev. I am studying master courses in Service
Engineering and I want to participate in GSoC. This project idea seems
very interesting to me. As I am new to Airavata and Amazon SWF I am
studying these systems now and would appreciate any additional
information and links to get acquainted with the projects and expected
outcome from this GSoC idea.

Best regards,
Yaroslav Porshnev.

Hi Yaroslav,

Do you have any further questions on the project or Airavata itself? Let us know if you need any help while you prepare your proposal. Also, please post your comments on the JIRA issue so it will be easily trackable - https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AIRAVATA-340

Cheers,
Suresh

Hi Yaroslav,

Thank you for you interest in this project. An overview paper about Airavata is here http://people.apache.org/~smarru/papers/airavata-gce11.pdf

We will follow up with more specialized papers relevant to the workflow abstraction itself.
