Apache Flink has a feature called [savepoints|[https://ci.apache.org/projects/flink/flink-docs-stable/ops/state/savepoints.html]] which gives possibility to reset stream processing topology state to specific point in time. Similar feature can be useful for Kafka Streams applications as well.
