[jira] [Created] (ACE-357) Add CLI support for common tasks

Bram de Kruijff created ACE-357:
-----------------------------------

Summary: Add CLI support for common tasks
                 Key: ACE-357
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACE-357
             Project: ACE
          Issue Type: New Feature
            Reporter: Bram de Kruijff

At present the webui is the only reasonably simple way to manage resources and artifacts in ACE. In my experience this is not very efficient and becomes tedious when doing a lot of updates. For example, batch deployment from a CI server, Luckily the OBR and client have REST endpoints but they currently require custom scripts or clients to work with.

Therefore I propose to add a 'CLI' project that supports these common tasks in a more simple way. I have dropped some work I did in my sandbox [0]. It an initial work in progress that, at present, is purely CLI, I can imagine we want to decouple the commands more so they can be reused as a library or get shell bindings..

WDYT?
