Hey [~skyyws], could you tell me which version of Spark/ORC do you use? An alternative is to create the files with an older ORC library.
If that's too much trouble, then maybe we can omit timestamps as you propose, and -open a Jira only for the new timestamp types.- we have IMPALA-9967 to track the timestamp issue.
