OAuth configuration with Shiro

dear community,

at the moment i amusing Shiro for securing my Rest calls using Basic
authentication (but HTTPS).
I would like to use OAuth, and i googled several hints, that people have
done this successfully using grails.
I did not found something like a full working example.
Could you please share me any hint or even if its supported by Shiro 1.2.3?
Do i need an adtional plugin for OAUTH?
