WSDL compared to SDL in .NET?

Does anyone have any knowledge of the description language being used in
Microsoft's .NET alpha? The structure is quite a bit different from WSDL,
but their docs continually state they are supporting WSDL. My guess is that
they are using SDL because they had that ready to go before the WSDL stuff
was even defined and just have not switched over for this alpha release. Can
anyone confirm this?
