   It?s well known that not using OMP is often faster than using OMP. It depends upon the several factors including the model, size of a data object and batch size. I?ve never personally tried Alexnet, however.  Is this ticket describing something else ? that it?s occuring in a particular setting where it is expected to perform better? What is this ?dummy? dataset? Is there something that sets this test apart from the normal case where we see non-OMP perform better than OMP?
