[users@httpd] somedays!

List,

I had just finished setting up htaccess on two seperate folders for two
different v-domains. It all worked fine. I then cut back on the file
permissions on the htpasswd files because I had them at 777 until i got
things working. Now I get a 401 error even after I put the htpasswd file
back to 777. I remade the htpasswd file and still no success. I am really
stumped now.

Blair

Make sure that apache has read and execute permissions (drwxr-xr-x [mode
755]) to /usr, /usr/local, /usr/local/passwords, and
/usr/local/passwords/fridayscry
