[jira] [Created] (FOP-2631) Setting to ignore DPI information set inside image

Radu Coravu created FOP-2631:
--------------------------------

Summary: Setting to ignore DPI information set inside image
                 Key: FOP-2631
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FOP-2631
             Project: FOP
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: image/unqualified
    Affects Versions: 2.1
            Reporter: Radu Coravu

Most of our clients produce images using various applications which also set DPI information inside images.
This makes all images appear over-scaled when the PDF is produced. So they need to go through each image and remove the DPI information.

Could there be a setting in the fop.xconf for ignoring the DPI resolutions set to all images? And prefer instead the "source-resolution" and "target-resolution" values set in the same configuration file?
