JIRA to dev@directory.apache.org Time Lag

Am I a complete tool or is there really some serious time lag between
JIRA comments being posted and arriving to the mailing list? Looking at
the headers below:

> Received: from ajax-1.apache.org (HELO ajax.apache.org)

The message left ajax.apache.org at June 16, 6:07 GMT. It then arrived
at apache.org on June 18, 5:08 GMT. After that it makes it all the way
to me in about 1 minute. I only mention this because my spam filter is
tagging these messages because they are sent 2 days in the past.

What has most likely been happening is that JIRA tried to deliver the e-mail, was unable to connect to the mail server, and had to retry several times before being able to deliver e-mail.

This should be fixed now. The mail server has been effectively under a DDoS for months, and we have finally gotten what appears to be an effective solution into place.
