Will there be one build system (maven or ant)

Hello Jetspeed team,

I am a little bit confused about the strategy regarding the build
system of jetspeed 2. The maven 1 build is deprecated. I had the
impression that maven 2 would be the future. Now I have discovered
documentation about an ant build system.

In the mail archives I could not find any current discussion about the
build system. So I am asking this question. What will be supported in
future? Maven 2 and Ant? Will they both have the same possibilities or
will there be differences?

The plan is to deprecate both current Maven-1 and Maven-2 builds, and  
come up with a new build for Maven-2 for 2.2
We hope that we can re-use the core Maven-2 build classes inside Ant  
tasks as well
There have been a lot of discussions on this subject on the jetspeed- 
dev lists
