[jira] [Created] (LOG4J2-1732) java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.logging.log4j.Logger

Tobias Pongs created LOG4J2-1732:
------------------------------------

             Summary: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.logging.log4j.Logger
                 Key: LOG4J2-1732
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LOG4J2-1732
             Project: Log4j 2
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Core
    Affects Versions: 2.7
         Environment: Eclipse Equinox OSGi
            Reporter: Tobias Pongs

I wanted to update from Log4j 2.6.1 to 2.7.0. But I got a ClassNotFoundException while loading the log4j-core bundle.

After some investigation I noticed, that the MANIFEST.MF in the log4j-core bundle does not import the "org.apache.logging.log4j" package any more. That's why the bunlde class loader doesn't find the "org.apache.logging.log4j.Logger" class.
