[jira] Created: (DERBY-270) Instruct users to create doc patches from the trunk
Instruct users to create doc patches from the trunk
---------------------------------------------------
Key: DERBY-270
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-270
Project: Derby
Type: Task
Components: Web Site
Environment: All
Reporter: Jeff Levitt
Priority: Minor
A lot of my patches to docs have been failing, and here is why:
We need to create doc patches to the DITA files so that the patches reference the file path starting from /src. This means that they must be created in /trunk.
I will make an update to the dita.xml file for the DITA page on the website to make sure that users creating patches adhere to that.

The dita page already correctly indicates to use the trunk directory. My mistake!
