Atomics on FreeBSD are broken

------- Additional Comments From chip@force-elite.com 2004-04-14 21:49 -------
/usr/include/machine/atomic.h is always visible from userspace on FreeBSD 5.x.

I don't have access to a 4.x box to know if this is true for all modern versions
of FreeBSD.

This patch does seem to fix the build for both FreeBSD 4.x and 5.x, and the
Ports system has been using it for a long time without any special cases for
either version, so i assume it is perfectly fine.
