GSoC 2012

Dear folks,

I've seen some previous discussion about GSoC'12. Will Hive participate it?
Any idea list for students to kick off? Last year I participated in GSoC
with Pig, and am interested in contributing some patches again to the
projects in the Hadoop ecosystem.
