FYI, starting a "Sling mail archive server" student project, ok to discuss it here?

Hi Sling developers,

I'm coaching Igor Bogomolov, one of our summer interns at $work, on
the creation of a Sling-based mail archive server.

The current code (just an early prototype so far) is at [1] with an
initial spec at [2].

I'd like to use this list and our jira tracker to discuss and organize
the project, is that ok with you guys?

The goal is to also make this a larger demo application and
demonstrate Sling best practices, and I suspect Igor will be happy to
donate that code to Sling.

Yes that's the idea, to build that project using only dependencies
that would work in Sling.

Good point, you're right that we can start there, and if there's
interest we can always move the whole thing here later.

Hi Bertrand,
I think using this mailing list is fine, assuming that this project is only
going to have OSS dependencies. I imagine that plenty of people are
interested in this effort.

I'm less sure about the issue tracker. It could be confusing that he could
be assigned some issues, but not others. Is there a reason not to use
GitHub Issues?
